Deep Cycle Batteries should be used when the battery is to be the primary source of ‘Power’. When Deep Cycle Batteries are used, the battery is discharged on a regular basis, with each charge and discharge being called a ‘cycle’. The battery life is dependent on the number of full cycles it completes. A Deep Cycle battery is designed to recover from a deep cycle i.e. when completely flattened. NOTE: It is important to recharge deep cycle batteries at the correct voltage (14.6 volts) and use a two stage charger rates at 20% battery capacity
All of Power On Australia’s range of Deep Cycle batteries are also known as VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) generically known as ‘Gel’ batteries – plus – are all of Absorbent Glass Matt (AGM) construction for superior performance
