Asset Capture Platform for Compliance & Tracking

About LINQ

Collecting asset data in a commercial or industrial facility is an important task for compliance and tracking. Facilities and engineering staff are busy with today’s demanding work environment. Data capture rounds are time consuming and tedious work. But even worse, the value in this data is commonly lost or underutilised because it is manually written down on paper and stored in binders or on a spreadsheet. There is no easy way to analyse this data for reporting purposes or finding problems before they occur without some form of automation.

Power On Australia’s LINQ cloud-based platform utilizes existing on-site smart phones and/or tablets at the facility to capture asset data via an app. The app pushes the data to a 100% cloud based enterprise software platform to analyse and report on this data, and produce real-time and instant reporting.

With this in mind, Power On Australia’s focus is on deploying this platform for commercial and industrial facilities to unleash the potential stored within this data to highlight cost savings and numerous other benefits currently not available with ease. Our team consists of hardware, software and application engineers from the IT automation industry who design manufacture and install the system exclusively throughout APAC.

Product features

LINQ’s programmers have coded a simple to use platform which was driven and developed with the help of engineering staff in facilities. Working with experts in the field, and with customers who wanted to efficiently and accurately capture asset data, we have streamlined almost every aspect of our software.

Quick Implementation

Very little effort is required by facility management. Facility personnel download the app, log in and start using the app. We do the rest.

Different Types of Data

Numbers, sentences, Yes/No responses, checklists, selections, and even pictures and other types of entries can be uploaded.

Automatic Reporting

Facility management can create an unlimited amount of reports and automate them to be sent to different email addresses.

No “Per-Seat” License

Facility management can add as many users, forms and reports as necessary, accruing no additional fees.

How do I get started?

Our platform provides a simple 3 step process to start collecting data at your facility for reporting & analytical purposes right away.

Step 1: Facility engineers provide the forms they fill out daily, monthly, or even just once, to LINQ.

Step 2: LINQ digitizes these forms into the app (Apple and Android).

Step 3: Engineering staff download the app, log in with their credentials and will immediately see a digital version of the forms they have been filling out by hand. At this point they can start using the app to collect data.

Other features

  • Images can be captured as well as many other types of data.
  • Forms can be “programmed,” or configured to show some fields only under certain conditions (e.g. when something is abnormal, new fields appear to ask for clarification).
  • Facility management can add as many rounds/users as necessary, accruing no additional fees.
  • QR codes can be added as needed per asset or per location.
  • Facility managers have complete and real-time control of any users or groups. Access permissions can be easily revoked and logs can be run on the submissions of any user.

Want to Know More?

Please contact us and we can provide references along and help you design your application. We can even do a proof of concept using one of the forms you are currently filling out manually.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will the app work for me?

Our platform provides a simple 3 step process to start collecting data at your facility for reporting and analytical purposes right away

  1. Facility Engineers provide the forms they fill out daily, monthly, or even just once, to LINQ.
  2. LINQ digitizes these forms into the app (Apple and Android).
  3. Engineering staff download the app, log in with a username and password and will immediately see a digital version of the forms they have been filling out by hand. At this point they can start using the app to collect data.

Is it easy to tweak or change the digital form in the app at a later date?

Yes, either you or Linq’s staff can change the form within a few hours. We encourage our customers to change the form to make it more user friendly and efficient over time.

What if one of my staff members input wrong data in the app?

Each data point has intelligence behind it. If an entry is outside preset boundaries, the operator entering the data can be asked to confirm the value. If it’s correct but out-of-bounds, then an informative message will be sent as an email or text message alert to the appropriate personnel. For example, “pressure out of range on rack-22.”

Is there a way to know if a person in charge of inputting the data physically went to the location while doing their rounds?

Each asset can have a QR code provided by Linq which can be scanned by the engineer’s smart phone or tablet in order make sure the person was on site to collect the asset reading, and that no human error was made in properly identifying the asset.

Can I take pictures of the asset while inputting the data?

Not only textual or numerical data, but also asset images can be collected by utilizing the camera of the phone/tablet.

Can the data be exported to other systems?

Yes, once the data has been logged and uploaded into the cloud, it can be transmitted to other systems in a variety of formats, either automatically every day or through a manual export.

Can I get alerts if the value entered is out of 'normal' range?

Yes. The fields can be “programmed” for different behaviors, such as alerting on out-of-bound conditions or hiding a section of questions based on the response.

Can I have my technicians be reminded if they forget to perform a round?

The data entry system has scheduling alerts and can alert an operator if they fail to complete a round before the deadlines dictated by management (for example, once a day or week).
